As of January, 2012 the WLA discontinued membership dues for new and current members.

Requirements for membership in the WLA:

1. You are a female lawyer with at least seven years of experience and are a partner/member/shareholder in your law firm or hold a Senior Counsel or General Counsel position at your company.

2. You are AV or BV rated by Martindale Hubbell or recommended by a current member in good standing with the WLA (does not apply to corporate counsel).

3. You agree to not solicit additional work from any client referred to you by a non-corporate member of the WLA. If a client requests further representation from you beyond the scope of the original referred matter you agree to contact the referring member before accepting the representation.
