Founded in 2009, The Women Lawyers Alliance is an accomplished group of top-rated women throughout the United States and Canada engaged in the private practice of law. WLA members are partners of large, medium-sized and boutique firms and span all practice areas.

Members of the WLA are required to be partners in their law firms or have seven or more years of private practice experience. Additionally, to become a member of the WLA a lawyer must be AV or BV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. If you are not yet rated you may also become a member by being recommended by a current WLA member.

The WLA also welcomes corporate counsel members who wish to utilize the WLA network as a resource when seeking to engage experienced, competent, ethical women lawyers for their transactions and matters.

In order to create a strong and trusted referral network our members agree to not solicit additional work from a referred client by a non-corporate member.
